On 23 July Declan Donnelly announced the happy news that he and wife Ali Astall had welcomed a baby boy to their family with an adorable snap of the newborn.Taking to Instagram Dec, 46, wrote: "Shortly before 10am yesterday, 23.7.2022, Ali and I welcomed the arrival of our son, Jack Anthony Alphonsus, a very welcome ray of light. "He is wonderful and Isla is beyond excited to be a big sister! D x". The youngster’s name is a homage to the men in Dec’s life including best pal Ant McPartlin and also a nod to his father who passed away in 2011.

TV favourites Ant and Dec are just two of the household names leading this year’s nominations for the 2022 TRIC Awards.
