Alison Hammond was shocked and "terrified" when Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly burst onto the set of This Morning on Friday morning. As co-hosts, Alison and Dermot O'Leary moved onto the next sequence after a relaxing session about dreams when Ant and Dec burst onto the set. Alison squealed and leapt out of her chair as the Saturday Night Takeaway's theme began playing and the duo entered with symbols as she rushed to wrap her arms around her co-host as she was stunned by their surprise visit.The duo wore full black suits with sparkly jackets and bow ties for the occasion as other dancers filled in around the studio and confetti fell from the ceiling.

As the music settled, a confused Alison asked: "What are you doing here?" Ant replied: "I tell you what we’re doing, we’ve dreamed that Saturday Night Takeaway was on again tomorrow night and now our dream’s coming true." "We’re on our way to film something for tomorrow night’s show,” Dec explained, “but we just wanted to remind you and everybody because we had a week off last week because of the rugby so we just wanted to remind you all we’re back tomorrow.” He clashed his symbols again as Ant cheered and Alison joked “You could have told us!” before she burst into a cackle with Dec.
