Reality TV favourite I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has been a ratings winner since making its debut in 2002 and for 21 series fans have switched on in their millions to watch stars bicker, bond and battle gruesome challenges in Ant and Dec’s smash hit show. But there’s a rumoured treat in store for viewers of the series, which traditionally airs in November, as a spin-off series will reportedly see former campmates brought together for another stint in the jungle.

ITV is reportedly planning to film a two-week-long series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this summer, in addition to the usual series – featuring some of fans’ favourite old faces. The hit reality show has been on for nearly 20 years, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly remaining at the helm for nearly all of that time. But like pretty much every popular programme on the box, it was affected by the Covid outbreak and moved to Wales for two years.

A brand new I’m A Celebrity series is set to be filmed in South Africa, with the results kept under wraps until it airs.

Their characters have been through the mill recently on Coronation Street. But Corrie favourites Ellie Leach and Millie Gibson looked happy and relaxed as they left a city centre salon after enjoying some pampering.

Troppo” will premiere on Amazon Freevee May 20, as one of the first originals to launch on the newly renamed streaming platform.Based on the novel “Crimson Lake” by Cameron Fox, “Troppo” stars Thomas Jane as Ted Conkaffey, an ex-cop accused of a crime that he didn’t commit. Hiding out in the Far North Queensland, he’s recruited by private investigator Amanda Pharrell (Nicole Chamoun) into helping her investigate a bizarre murder case and track down a missing person. In addition to Jane and Chamoun, the cast also includes David Lyons, Yerin Ha, Sun Park, Ling Cooper Tang, Kate Beahan, Cramer Cain, Peta Wilson, Angela Punch McGregor, Damien Garvey, Josh Helman and Radha Mitchell.

When I first proposed to chat with Lingsi Lu and Leanor Barz from the Street Roller Hockey Chix for this month’s column, I thought, “these chix are going to be sooo out of my league”’ I mean, they marched in Mardi Gras dressed as bin chickens – the club’s mascot! Delightful, right? There are no designated surface requirements and no referees, and two milk crates cut in two suffice as goals, which is pretty great considering the competition for fields and courts here in Sydney.
