Dead & Company Cancel Summer Tour

Dead & Company—the band featuring members of the Grateful Dead and John Mayer—have canceled their summer 2020 tour because of COVID-19. The North American dates were scheduled to take place this July and August. All tickets will be fully refunded. “We are thankful for your understanding and we look forward to the day when we can all be reunited,” the band said in a statement. “In the meantime, keep the faith and believe in the power of music. We will return. We will get by. We will survive.”

Earlier this year, Mount Eerie, aka Phil Elverum, announced a North American tour slated to kick off this month. Elverum then announced that the trek had been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
