The Sleepover Club was a popular Aussie after-school series which followed the lives and drama of five friends - Rosie, Lyndz, Kenny, Frankie and Fliss.The five young girls started a sleepover club in order to stay friends forever, with each of them taking a turn to host a weekly sleepover. During the epic slumber parties, the best friends would discuss school gossip and come up with club activities as well as take viewers through the typical triumphs and turmoils of being a young teen girl.The iconic '00s show ran from 2003 until 2008, with two 26-episode long seasons. We've tracked down the cast to see what they're up to now, 15 years on...

Once an iconic staple of 90’s teatime telly, Neighbours star Scott Michaelson was the subject of many teen girls dreams when he starred in the Aussie soap as surfer hunk Brad Willis. Delighting audiences between 1991 and 1993, the talented star became a household name with his trademark blonde locks and skills on a surfboard, yet despite his skyrocketing success, Scott decided too swap the bright lights of a soap career for a far more private vocation away from the cameras and the limelight.

Neighbours fans can officially get excited as the iconic soap's return date has finally been revealed for its big Amazon comeback.The Aussie soap was axed last summer, after 37 years, with fans devastated at the news, however, it was later announced that it would be making a return to our screens as production company Fremantle signed onto the project with Amazon Freevee. Fan favourites, including Stefan Dennis as Paul Robinson, Alan Fletcher as Karl Kennedy, Jackie Woodburne as Susan Kennedy and Ryan Moloney as Toadie Rebecchi, are all set to return.

However, one star who was noticeably absent from the finale was Kimberley Davies who was known for playing Annalise Hartman back in the nineties. After arriving in Erinsborough in 1993, Kimberley’s character Annalise was at the centre of several dramatic storylines, one of which saw her jilted at the altar by Mark Gottlieb.

Before Scott and Charlene, there was Des and Daphne – the original Neighbours couple who got married in a fairytale wedding, one year prior to Mr and Mrs Robinson becoming an item. Daphne Lawrence (played by Elaine Smith) was originally a stripper with a heart of gold – she fell for loveable Des Clarke (played by Paul Keane) in the very first episode of the popular Australian soap, back on 18 March, 1985. Daphne was one of just 12 original Neighbours characters – along with Des – created by TV producer Reg Watson, who gave up stripping when she got the lease to the local coffee shop.

Having spent nearly 37 years on our screens, Australian soap Neighbours saw plenty of stars become familiar faces on Ramsay Street. From Margot Robbie to Liam Hemsworth, plenty of celebs kickstarted their acting career with a stint in Erinsborough. And among those to launch their careers on Neighbours is Annie Jones.

Given that it spent nearly 40 years on our TV screens, it’s no surprise that Neighbours saw hundreds of actors come and go on Ramsay Street. And of those who once held Erinsborough close to their hearts, some including Margot Robbie and Liam Hemsworth went on to find success in Hollywood too. Among those who used Neighbours to catapult their career on our screens is Jesse Spencer who played Billy Kennedy from 1994.

After 37 years on our TV screens, fans across the world were left broken hearted last year when it was revealed that Australian soap Neighbours would be coming to an end. However, in a surprise announcement earlier this year it was revealed that the show was set to make a comeback and that cast members had started filming for the new series. Margot Robbie, who played Donna Freedman from 2008 to 2011, and Guy Pearce – Mike Young from 1986 to 1989 – became major Hollywood actors, with Margot currently setting cinema screens alight with her starring role in Barbie, while Guy is known for films including LA Confidential and Memento. Kylie Minogue – who played tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell from 1986 to 1988 – of course became a huge chart success, most recently scoring a top 10 hit with Padam Padam.Then there's Craig McLachlan, who played Henry Ramsay in the late 1980s before going on to have a short-lived pop career.

If you've been a Neighbours fan since the 90s, you'll definitely remember the Alessi twins, Christina and Caroline played by Gayle and Gillian Blakeney who now look totally different. Identical twins Gillian and Gayle Blakeney, who are now 57 years old, shot to fame on the Australian soap during the 1990s and they certainly had their fair share of dramatic storylines.

Since leaving the soap, Mark has relocated to Wales where he lives off the grid and works as a farmer in the countryside near Lake Vyrnwy in Powys. He opted for a relaxed suede-look bomber jacket and finished the outfit with a pair of dark jeans.

Love Island star Maura Higgins was reportedly left shaken after three masked men attempted to raid her house on Wednesday.The reality star is said to be upping security after the incident, which saw three men in masks shaking and ramming her metal gates until they managed to rip them down, before entering her property and attempting to steal a number of vehicles. Police were called to the incident, which was captured by her neighbours’ CCTV cameras, and Maura has been said to be left feeling unsafe at home following the attempted robbery.
