The film, which captures her iconic 2018 Coachella performance, beat out the Miles Davis film Birth of the Cool, the David Crosby documentary Remember My Name, the Rick Rubin documentary series Shangri-La, and Thom Yorke’s ANIMA.

Tonight at the 2020 Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper, Lukas Nelson, and others won a Grammy for their soundtrack to A Star Is Born, taking home the prize for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media. Their soundtrack beat those for The Lion King, Rocketman, Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood, and Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse.

FKA twigs will perform Sunday night at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, where she’ll take the stage with Sheila E. and Usher for a tribute to the late Prince. twigs said that she would join the previously-announced homage to the Purple One during an interview with Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio show.

Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus will perform their massive “Old Town Road” at the 2020 Grammys, the Recording Academy has announced. Joining them for the performance, dubbed “Old Town Road All-Stars,” will be K-pop superstars BTS, Diplo, and 13-year-old country singer Mason Ramsey, all of whom have remixed the song. The Recording Academy also promises “other special guests” for the performance.

Yesterday (January 21), Deborah Dugan, the outgoing Recording Academy president and CEO, filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) discrimination complaint against her former employers. Along with allegations of abuse of power and corruption in the Recording Academy, the complaint included allegations of rape against Dugan’s predecessor Neil Portnow.

The Recording Academy has announced more performers for the 2020 Grammys. The new additions to lineup are: ROSALÍA, Camila Cabello, H.E.R., Jonas Brothers, Charlie Wilson, Bonnie Raitt (who will pay tribute to John Prine), and Run-D.M.C., who will perform with Aerosmith. They join previously announced acts like Tyler, the Creator, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato.

Tyler, the Creator has announced that he’s one of the artists set to perform at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Tyler’s album IGOR—which went to No. 1 last year in a surprise win over DJ Khaled—was nominated this year for Best Rap Album. The 2020 Grammys take place on January 26.

Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Gwen Stefani, Aerosmith, and Blake Shelton have been announced as performers at the 2020 Grammys, taking place on January 26.

Today (December 19), the Recording Academy has announced that Iggy Pop, Public Enemy, Chicago, John Prine, Roberta Flack, Isaac Hayes, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe will receive Lifetime Achievement Grammy Awards. The presentation ceremony will take place April 18, 2020, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
