And in order to help people slim down a little, diet guru Dr Michael Mosley has shared three foods that should be 'avoided' or 'minimised' by those looking to lose some weight.
The nutritionist, who created the 5:2 and Fast 800 eating plans, spoke about some of his diet hacks during his new BBC Sounds podcast. The expert explained that swapping out some snacks can help curb cravings - such as opting for nuts and choosing certain fruits to help soothe a sweet tooth.

Dr Mosley said: "Ultra-processed foods include chicken nuggets, burgers, chips, pizzas, hotdogs, pre-packaged meals, mass-produced ice cream, sweets, crisps, energy
