Coronation Street's Sarah star Tina O'Brien risks 'annoying' two co-stars as she cheekily makes 'new man' demand

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has cheekily made a demand for a 'new man' for her on-screen alter ego as her love life continues to be just as complicated as we enter a new year.
With the Christmas festivities out the way and as we head into 2024, Sarah is hoping for a fresh start with her estranged husband Adam. The previous year threw a lot of curveballs in the couple's direction with the arrival of Damon Hay proving to be too much temptation for Sarah leading to an affair and a shock pregnancy that ended in a tragic miscarriage.
But as the new year approaches, following his panic attack, Adam assures Sarah that he’s feeling much better and so Sarah suggests they meet for a drink and a hopeful Adam thinks that this could be a new start for them. In the pub, Sarah googles panic attacks and promises Adam that they’re going to tackle his anxiety together.

But outside, as Adam and Sarah part company with a warm embrace, neither notice Damon watching them from across the street - months after the solicitor made sure he had to do a runner after tipping off the wrong crowd. As Adam heads for his office, a man follows him in a van and soon, Adam’s horrified to find himself tied up in the back of said van marking the start of a kidnap horror.
Speaking of Damon's return, Tina says it's 'completely out of the blue' for Sarah. "I think if she's honest, there's probably some unfinished business there," the actress told the Manchester Evening News and other press.
