Former Hollyoaks star Lucy-Jo Hudson has been supported by her fans and followers after opening up about 'blended families'. The actress, who played Donna-Marie Quinn in the Channel 4 soap, shares a daughter, Sienna, with Coronation Street star Alan Halsall.
Lucy, who previously admitted that co-parenting with an ex can be 'challenging', met Tyrone Dobbs actor Alan on the set of Corrie - in which she played Katy Harris - all the way back in 2002. After seven years of marriage, having tied the knot in 2009, the former couple announced that they had separated back in 2016 - saying at the time they would remain close friends.
However, on that occasion, they reconciled a month later before splitting again in 2018. Lucy went on to find love with Lewis Devine, whom she first met when they appeared together in pantomime in 2017, and the couple share a son together while Alan has been in a relationship with former Corrie star Tisha Merry for a number of years.

Lucy has now shared that this year, Sienna spent Christmas Day with her dad while she spent the day with her husband Lewis and their son, Carter. They then reunited on Boxing Day for a 'second Christmas' but Lewis did have to work as he stars in panto.
Sharing a string of pictures to Instagram, Lucy started to write: "Merry Christmas you lovely lot. I’m so sorry I’ve been so quiet on here, I hope you’ve all had a gorgeous Christmas? Ours has been really chilled this year, which we’ve actually really appreciated…
