She’s been popping up on Coronation Street since 2021, and now, actress Vicky Myers reveals her character DS Lisa Swain will be back on a permanent basis, as she’s been promoted to a regular character. DS Swain has a big case on her hands – the disappearance and suspected murder of Lauren Bolton, played by Cait Fitton. “I was contracted to do eight episodes, so this is really quite something,” says Vicky.

Actor Scipio, who most recently starred opposite Pedro Pascal and Nicolas Cage in the meta adventure “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent,” will reprise his role as Armando Aretas – the estranged son of Will Smith’s Miami-Dade police detective character Mike Lowery. Scipio is getting a narrative upgrade from his debut in 2020’s “Bad Boys for Life,” we hear, as the script will see him play the main antagonist in the action film led by Smith and Martin Lawrence.

Coronation Street star Luca Toolan has revealed that he hid the news of his soap audition from his famous dad as he didn't want the "pressure" of his family knowing.The Corrie star is best known for playing teenage bully Mason on the ITV soap, having joined the show last year. Former Coronation Street actress Imogen Boorman has reportedly being ‘placed on the sex offenders list’ after she stripped naked in a bar during a drunken night out.The actress, who also starred in Casualty and the 1980s horror film Hellbound: Hellraiser II, has admitted to causing a scene during a drunken episode at The Picture House pub in Montrose, Scotland.The court heard that Imogen stripped naked, drank directly from the beer taps, and even sprayed a customer with a juice gun. She pleaded guilty to seven charges and is due to be sentenced in April.The mum-of-three has also been reportedly added to the Sex Offenders Register. According to Stuart Hamilton, the fiscal depute, Imogen entered the bar around 10pm on May 1 last year and "simply smiled" when asked what she wanted to order.

Bleecker Street has picked up U.S. rights to Mikael Håfström’s sci-fi thriller Slingshot, starring Casey Affleck, Laurence Fishburne and Emily Beecham. Additional cast includes Fauda star Tomer Capone and The Walking Dead’s David Morrissey.

Ricky must’ve bought Katie an early Valentine’s Day gift as he was carrying a bag from there.They looked really happy together.” The duo wore matching black caps and Ricky was seen holding a shopping bag.The Sun reported that the couple first met at the start of October and have been inseparable ever since.
