Sziget Festival announces programme of cultural events for 2022
Sziget Festival has announced details of a wide-ranging programme of cultural events that will take place during their 2022 event.The Budapest, Hungary festival will return from August 10-15, with Arctic Monkeys, Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris and Tame Impala among the headliners.Sziget has now announced a series of additional live performances and cultural events – spanning “everything from theatre, burlesque, comedy, contemporary dance, jazz, folk and world music” – that will take place alongside the live music on offer at this year’s festival.This includes the Cirque du Sziget (promising “outstanding new international circus performances”), the Magic Mirror (a “venue dedicated to the artistic expression and the social issues of the LGBTQ communities”) and the Global Village, which is aiming to “bring the world together on one stage”.A post shared by Sziget Festival (@szigetofficial)‘Giant Street Theatre’ (“which will help revellers to escape their own mind with their incredible dance show in the sky lifted by a crane”), a special theatre and dance field, and a travelling funfair will also be on offer at Sziget 2022, while festivalgoers are also being encouraged to keep a look out for “walkabout” performers who will be touring the festival site.The line-ups for the festival’s ibis X ALL Europe Stage, dropYard (which specialises in hip-hop), Lightstage and Music Box areas have also been announced, with Nova Twins and Cleopatrick set to perform on the ALL Europe Stage.You can find out more information about Sziget 2022, including ticket details, by heading here.Last month Sziget announced a wave of artists for their brand-new electronic venue, the Samsung Colosseum.

Justin Bieber has joined forces with Nigerian singer Omah Lay for an addictive new track, ‘Attention’ – you can listen to it below.The afro-pop dance floor anthem hears the two artists discuss the troubles of a one-sided relationship. Starved of affection, the pair ask questions about whether or not they should take to smoking and drinking to eradicate the pain.“Should I drink up? Smoke up?/ I need some freedom, freedom, ah, in my life,” Bieber sings on the song’s pre-chorus. Omah Lay adds: “Little love and some affection on the side/ Little trust and some passion would be nice/ It’s all I desire/ I need it, I cannot deny.”Accompanied by a Colin Tilley-directed video, the two artists host a late night beach party with a group of female guests and a couple of camp fires, before switching locations.You can watch the ‘Attention’ video below:Bieber released his sixth studio album ‘Justice’ last March; it spawned the singles ‘Holy’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Anyone’, ‘Hold On’, ‘Ghost’, and the global smash hit ‘Peaches’ featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon. He followed this up with his ‘Freedom’ EP in April.Last year also saw Bieber feature on a number of other tracks, including Skrillex‘s ‘Don’t Go’, posthumous Juice WRLD track ‘Wandered To LA’, ‘Essence’ with Wizkid and Tems, and his huge collaboration with The Kid LAROI, ‘Stay’.Back in December, Bieber became the first artist in Spotify history to cross 90 million monthly listeners on the streaming service.

Maynard James Keenan has shared a humorous new clip of himself trying to play Jenga behind Tool drummer Danny Carey during one of the band’s recent shows.The band are currently on the North American leg of their world tour, which kicked off last month and is set to visit the UK and Ireland in May.In a clip that was shared over the weekend on Keenan’s personal Instagram page, the frontman is seen crouching down behind Carey’s drum kit during one show in an effort to play a game of Jenga.However, Keenan’s Jenga game is ruined after Carey smashes his giant gong at the back of his drum set, causing the frontman to jokingly yell: “What the fuck!
