Latest Coronation Street spoilers reveal trouble ahead for the Platts as Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) enacts his revenge after betrayal by Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson). Having signed his divorce papers to Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), Adam decides to stop working on Harvey's appeal and sends CCTV footage of Natasha Blakeman’s (Rachel Leskovac) murder directly to the police. It’s not long before Harvey calls Adam aware the police have damning evidence and tells Adam to watch his back.
Desperate Adam calls at Sarah flat and tells her he doesn't want a divorce, he still loves her and wants them to try again. Floored by Adam’s admission, Sarah hurries out of the flat where she’s spotted by her daughter, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). As Bethany crosses the street to see her mum, a car accelerates towards them! Later on at the hospital, Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard) rails at a guilt-ridden Adam for getting involved with Harvey and endangering Sarah’s and Bethany’s lives.
On the cobbles, Ken Barlow (William Roache) is shocked to discover what Adam’s been up to. However, it’s Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) to the rescue once again as he assures Sarah that he’s spoken to Harvey who’s promised to back off and they have nothing to fear. Elsewhere, Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) are horrified when Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) admits that Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) threatened him with a knife.
While they go to the police, Mason orders Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) to get the knife and meet up with him. However, as Dylan waits for Mason, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) arrives, discovers the knife in Dylan’s bag and arrests him. Very quickly, Dyan realises Mason set him up.
