Adam (Sam Robertson) was hit by a car after the vehicle came hurtling around the corner in the direction of Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) and Bethany's (Lucy Fallon) direction. He jumped out in front of the car and took the full brunt of the hit and run in chilling scenes.The driver was ordered to target the Platts by villainous Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor), who is currently in prison for murdering Natasha Blakeman.
