Movie Week is done and dusted and what a spectacle it was, but this weekend on Strictly Come Dancing, the 13 remaining couples will once again be vying to impress the judges with their routines and you - the voting public.
Last weekend's show saw comedian Eddie Kadi and professional partner Karen Hauer score the first 10 of the 2023 series with their couples choice performance to Men In Black, with Eddie dedicating the dance to his family who migrated from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
But the couple were beaten to the top spot on the leaderboard by one point after Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon and her professional partner Carlos Gu scored 35 for their Charleston from the film Damn Yankees, while Scanlon’s parents watched from the audience for the first time.

Other movie week highlights included a Viennese waltz from actress Ellie Leach to the Disney film Encanto, a “magical” Bridget Jones-inspired rumba from actress Amanda Abbington and a Cabaret Charleston from broadcaster Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
But last week also saw the second dance-off of the series with Nikita Kanda becoming the second celebrity to leave the latest series of the BBC One dance contest after she landed in the dreaded dance-off. The BBC Asian Network presenter faced elimination for the second consecutive week after scoring 21 with her movie week jive with professional dancer Gorka Marquez, which channelled 90s film Clueless.
