Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has now confirmed some fresh career news after teasing fans for months. The big reveal comes after the dancer was forced to leave the BBC One dance contest during its 2023 run.

The Sherlock star later said: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue."
