Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas has told his fans 'I can do this' before sharing a 'tough' moment with his family ahead of this weekend's live show. The actor, who recently reprised the role of Donte Charles in the reboot of Waterloo Road, remains in the running for the Strictly glitterball trophy with his dance partner Luba Mushtuk.
The pair made it through to Halloween week after being saved by the public and receiving a total score of 32 points from the judges with their couples choice routine to Backstreet Boys Medley by Backstreet Boys. Adam, 35, dedicated his performance to his brothers, former Corrie star Ryan Thomas and former Love Island contestant Scott Thomas, and the impact they've had on his life.
It came after the former Emmerdale actor had a difficult few days on the BBC dance contest last week after falling ill and admitting mid-way through the week that he 'didn't know' his routine. He was also said to have been 'banned' from rehearsals due to his mystery illness.

Now, ahead of Halloween week, Adam has assured fans 'I can do this' as he shared a thumbs-up selfie to his Instagram stories. But his wife Caroline Thomas, who Adam married in 2017, was less than impressed as she shared a selfie with their two kids, Teddy and Elsie, in reaction to his post.
Taking to her own stories, Caroline re-shared Adam's post and wrote: "I can do this??? Good for you @adamthomas21 however I can not [laughing emoji]", seemingly referring to looking after their children solo whilst her husband is away rehearsing for Strictly.
