Strictly's Eddie Kadi reacts to 'dance disaster' and says 'there had to be a catch' after perfect 10

Strictly Come Dancing's Eddie Kadi joked "there had to be a catch" as he spoke about escaping elimination just a week after scoring the first perfect ten of the series. The comedian and partner Karen Hauer's American Smooth failed to impress on Saturday, landing them in the dance-off.
Shirley Ballas - the judge who awarded them the coveted top mark the week before - told them: "For me the feet are flat, it's a little bit of a dance disaster for me." Eddie and Karen had to dance again but were saved by the judges, with Paralympian Jody Cundy and partner Jowita Przystal sent packing.
Speaking on BBC Two's Strictly: It Takes Two companion show about how it felt to find himself in the bottom two, the British-Congolese star told host Fleur East: "It felt like deportation! I felt like I'm in immigration, like "don't send me back, I like London!" As soon as it was done Karen just said 'Good, we're just going to dance again."

He added: "We kept joking 'We got a ten, there's a catch here'. I'm not getting that ten for no reason! I'm up on a slide, the only way is down."
The couple received their ten during Movie Week after their street dance routine to the Men in Black theme tune. But asked if she was "gutted" about their change of fortune, Karen said it was all part of the Strictly journey.
She said: "This is what the show's about, it's ok, it's grounding. That means you have to keep working hard at all times and it can be taken away from you very quickly."
