Hugh Grant no longer speaks to Bridget Jones' Sally Phillips 'Afraid of my giant mouth!'
Her admission about her antics came hot on the heels of news that a new Bridget Jones film is in the making. It has been six years since the last one, Bridget Jones' Baby, during which the pregnant character was desperately trying to find out who the father could be.Thus far, the film remains a rumour with no official release date set. However, it is believed to have been co-written by Helen Fielding.Back in July, reports in The Sun suggested that Bridget will be making a return to our screens with a youngster in tow, having given birth. Some fans had believed the last movie was the final one, and that they would never see Bridget again. However, a source revealed: "The producers always knew there was a huge market for another sequel when the right story was available, and this feels like the right time to tell it."It will be seven or eight years since the last movie by the time this one hits the big screen, and fans will be desperate to find out what happened."The films have grossed over $1 billion (£903,926,000) at the box office since the first release back in 2001, and producers are keen to harness the lucrative appeal of Bridget's story with another sequel. In the previous film, fans discovered that the father of Bridget's baby wasn't her new love interest, Jack Qwant, played by 56-year-old Patrick Dempsey.Instead, Bridget discovered that it was her old flame, lawyer Mark Darcy (played by 61-year-old Colin Firth) who was responsible for her unexpected pregnancy.Renée had previously revealed that she would love to reprise her role, as playing the troubled character had been "so much fun".Speaking on the Jess Cagle Show on Sirius XM, she had added: "I love being in her shoes [and] the choices that we get to make [on set]

Stacey Solomon mortified as she answers the door to handyman in 'saggy grey underwear'
Stacey Solomon cringed in embarrassment as she told fans about how she had answered the door to a handyman while she was wearing "the greyest, saggiest" underwear. The pool on the grounds of the Loose Women star's home had just been completed and she was celebrating by taking her children for a dip - but she didn't bank on being interrupted by a handyman. The giggling BAFTA nominee joked that she had been "just living my best Bridget Jones life".Telling all on Instagram, she revealed: "I didn't bring myself out a bikini and a towel because I just thought I was watching on, ready to jump in if needed!"However, inevitably, her youngest child, daughter Rose, was keen to get into the pool.Stacey found herself joining in without her swimwear, only to be interrupted by the arrival of a guest."Rose wanted to jump in, so I thought 'Oh, I'll just wear my old, grey underwear' and the man fixing the insinkerator came," she explained, giggling with embarrassment."Just had to [get out of the pool and] open the door to [him] in the greyest, saggiest granny underwear ever!"She added: "Pretty sure the fact that they're soaking wet made them transparent in places."She then uploaded a close-up photo of herself modelling the offending underwear, zoning in on the print."Live footage of my granny knickers - poor guy!" she captioned the snap."My knickers are massive!" she chuckled, conceding: "I need to stock all the towels and stuff so I'm always prepared."It's still early days for Pickle Cottage Pool, which had not been ready for use until last week, but Stacey and the kids have scarcely left the water since."It’s been a long, crazy process but it’s finally finished!" she wrote in celebration last Friday."I often feel like this should have

Why Halle Berry describes her Best Actress Oscar win as ‘heartbreaking’
Halle Berry is looking back at the special night at the 74th Academy Awards, when she received the Best Actress award for her performance in ‘Monster’s Ball,’ revealing she was not expecting to win after being nominated for the first time.“Back in those days, if you didn’t win the Globe, you really didn’t get the Academy Award,” The actress explained, “So I’d pretty much resigned myself to believing, ‘It’s great to be here, but I’m not going to win.’”Competing against Nicole Kidman for ‘Moulin Rouge,’ Judi Dench for ‘Iris,’ Sissy Spacek for ‘In the Bedroom,’ and Renée Zellweger for ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary,’ Halle was the seventh Black actress ever nominated in this category.Fast forward to one of the most memorable Academy Award moments and an emotional speech, the Hollywood star stated at the time, “It’s been 74 years,” referring to the fact that she was the first Black woman to win the award. Now, 20 years after the special moment, Halle has confessed she is in disbelief that she is still the only Black woman to win the Best Actress award, “It didn’t open the door,” she explained, “The fact that there’s no one standing next to me is heartbreaking.”During her speech Halle told the crowd, “It’s for every nameless, faceless woman of color that now has a chance because this door tonight has been opened.”Reflecting on the meaning behind the Awards the actress says today, “Awards are the icing on the cake — they’re your peers saying you were exceptionally excellent this year — but does that mean that if we don’t get the exceptionally excellent nod, that we were not great, and we’re not successful, and we’re not changing the world with our art, and our opportunities aren’t growing?”
