Seven people, including two children, have been rushed to hospital after a horror crash on one of Scotland's most dangerous roads.
Two cars were involved in the Christmas Eve collision on the A82 at Invergloy, near Loch Lochy, after one attempted to overtake a third vehicle.
All seven casualties were rushed to Belford Hospital in Fort William following the 5pm smash.
One woman was later transferred to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for further treatment.
Two children, aged 15 and 6, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.
Police have launched a probe into the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The force are keen to speak with the driver of a vehicle which was being overtaken at the time of the collision.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to contact police on 101 or via the Police Scotland website and quote incident 2260 of December 24.
The A82 is one of one of the country's most dangerous roads and often has the highest number of crashes in a calendar year of any road in Scotland.
