A study by Beds Divan has found the top ten songs most likely to send your child to sleep on Christmas Eve if you're at a total loss for solutions.
Generally speaking, songs with a music tempo of around 60 beats per minute can increase the chances of falling asleep, according to research by the bed experts.
The results found that ‘River’ by Joni Mitchell ranks as the most relaxing Christmas song based on BPM with a BPM rate of 61, followed by that ‘White Christmas’ by Michael Bublé ft Shania Twain in second place.

It's not just music that can help to calm down excited children and get them ready for bed on Christmas Eve.
Child psychologist and sleep expert Dr Lindsay Browning also recommended the ideal schedule and tips for the day before Christmas that should help to set children up for a good night's sleep.
