A man has died and two women are in hospital following an early morning three-vehicle crash in a Clackmannanshire village.
A 48-year-old man died at the scene of the crash, which happened on Alloa Road at Park Terrace, Cambus, around midnight on Sunday, January 7.
The incident involved a Citroen C1, a Ford Fiesta and Audi A4. Police say the man was sitting in the back of the Citroen C1.
Two women who were also in the Citroen were rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
One passenger is described as being in a "critical" condition by staff, while the driver of the car is in a "serious but stable" condition.
Two people in the Audi A4 escaped from the crash uninjured. The 32-year-old female driver of the Ford Fiesta has been arrested in connection.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around midnight on Sunday, 7 January 2024, police were called to a road crash involving a Citroen C1, a Ford Fiesta and an Audi A4 on Alloa Road at Park Terrace, Cambus, Clackmannanshire.
