Quarantine does things to people. For most of us, it means sitting around, endlessly scrolling through social media and trying your best to avoid (digital) conversations with people that would rather fight than discuss something.

On the way to 22, Sophie Allison, better known as Soccer Mommy, made a collage of the 1990s and 2000s music she was raised on. On January 31, dBpm Records will release “Chicago 2017,” an album comprised of songs from Daniel Johnston’s final Chicago performance at The Vic Theatre in October of 2017, as well as a session recorded at Wilco’s Loft studio. For the performances, the late singer was backed by Tweedy (featuring Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and his son Spencer).
Jeff Tweedy and Wilco have been on an absolute tear lately. After sitting out most of the first half of the 2010s following the lush, lovely The Whole Love in 2011, the back half of this decade have seen them in nearly constant activity: the left-of-center Star Wars in 2015, 2016’s more straightforward (but no less enjoyable) Schmilco, two solo albums from Tweedy, and a much-ballyhooed memoir from the man himself.
