The ongoing strike by Hollywood actors has the potential to disrupt UK film production as US companies consider shifting filming to Britain, according to Equity, the British performers' union. In solidarity with their American counterparts, who are engaged in a dispute with Hollywood studios, Equity has issued a warning to US companies intending to move productions to the UK.
The actors strike is being felt as far away as Australia, as the country’s production union issued guidance saying a “limited” number of SAG-affiliated productions will have to stop for now.
Fortunately for HBO, “House Of The Dragon” is permitted to carry on with season two filming in the U.K., despite the SAG-AFTRA strike.

As such, the series is technically allowed to continue filming because Equity members aren’t legally allowed to strike in solidarity with the U.S. union.
