The Circle runner-up Freddie Bentley was reportedly arrested after defending himself from a group of men shouting homophobic slurs at him. Freddie, 24, shot to fame on the 2018 series of the show, and was said to have been recognised while out in Essex over the weekend. Allegedly the men referred to him as “the gay c*** from the telly”, sparking Freddie to respond and defend himself.

“The Circle” is officially returning for at least two new seasons. The Netflix reality series has been picked up for Seasons 6 and 7, and will return to the streaming service in the near future.
