Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon will drop a new album in November, SM Entertainment has confirmed.The release was announced as part of the agency’s Q4 schedule for 2023, which also features a number of previously confirmed releases.“Taeyeon is currently preparing for a new album set for release in November, SM Entertainment said in a press release (per Korea JoongAng Daily). “It will be her first album release after a while, following her third full-length album ‘INVU’ which dropped February last year.”The Q4 schedule also revealed that rookie boyband RIIZE will also return in late October with a new song.

K-pop agency SM Entertainment has previewed its upcoming music release plans for the first half of 2023.On February 20, SM uploaded a report of its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2022 to its official website for investors. In the new report, SM also shared the line-up of comebacks it has scheduled for the first half of 2023.According to the report, April will see the release of Girls’ Generation leader and soloist Taeyeon’s fifth mini-album, the debut of a new NCT sub-unit with their first mini-album as well as girl group aespa’s first-ever full-length album.Meanwhile, veteran boyband SHINee are scheduled to make a comeback with their eighth studio album in May, marking their first group release since their seventh repackaged  album ‘Atlantis’ in April 2021.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Girls' Generation singer Taeyeon's father has passed away. As per a Soompi report, her father passed away on March 9 due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Tragically, Taeyeon also turned 31st birthday today, March 9.
