On the heels of NBC extending Dick Wolf’s six scripted series on the network for another season, sibling Universal Television has extended Wolf’s overall deal at the studio for two additional years.

Every Dick Wolf-produced NBC show has been renewed by the network! All six shows, Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Chicago Med, Chicago PD, and Chicago Fire, were renewed on Monday (April 10).

NBC has renewed all six of its Dick Wolf-produced shows including the One Chicago franchise — Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. — and the trio of Law & Order dramas — the mothership series, Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime — for the 2023-2024 season.

There’s been yet another change at the helm of Dick Wolf’s Law & Order: Organized Crime. Sean Jablonski is stepping down as showrunner of NBC’s police procedural, Deadline has confirmed. Jablonski is the fourth showrunner to depart the Law & Order spinoff in the past year.
