Chicago rapper Saba and producer No I.D. have been teasing fans with the prospect of a joint project for some time now, with Saba first revealing the existence of the mixtape over a year ago.

Saba’s been in a creative mood recently. But before he does anything else, he has to finish unpacking some boxes first. When we talk over a video call two days before the release of his new album Few Good Things, he pans over to show a stack of shoeboxes, saying that he never thought about how difficult it’d be to drop an album and move to a new house at the same time.

Saba and G. Herbo trade honest and open verses about their tough upbringings on new song "Survivor's Guilt." The Daoud and daedaePIVOT co-produced song is the latest to be lifted from Saba's upcoming Few Good Things, due February 4.

Just before his tragic death in August, Chicago artist squeakPIVOT released En Route, a collaborative project with fellow Pivot Gang member MFnMelo.

Last week, Chicago rapper Saba announced a new album called Few Good Things and shared the project's lead single "Fearmonger." While we don't have a release date for Few Good Things other than "coming soon," on Monday Saba outlined a massive world tour kicking off in winter 2022. The dates for "Back Home, A Tour by Saba" begin on March 1 in Dublin.

Saba has released a pair of new songs alongside a visual to accompany both songs. The video for “Ziplock” and “Rich Don’t Stop," directed by Ian Lipton, is streaming below.

Gaidaa looks to the past to evaluate her present in the video for "Stranger." The track, produced by Jarreau Vandal and featuring a verse from Chicago rapper Saba, first appeared on the R&B singer's 2020 EP Overture. Written from the perspective of someone looking for answers in a world full of questions, "Stranger" is a snapshot of a person growing and realizing that part of moving forwards is feeling a little lost.
