The NBA today announced that Jennifer Hudson will perform a special tribute to the late Kobe Bryant at the All-Star Game on Sunday at Chicago’s United Center. The tribute will also honor Bryant’s daughter Gianna and seven others who died with them in a helicopter crash on Feb. 26.

One contestant called the Robot came out and sang the Lenny Kravitz song “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” The judges guessed that it might be Shaun White, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Flavor Flav, or Floyd Mayweather. The 37-year-old honored the Los Angeles Lakers legend with a 24-second moment of silence, a nod to the jersey worn by Kobe throughout his legendary 20-year career.
Lil Wayne’s latest studio album Funeral is out now, via Young Money/Republic. The album features Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Lil Baby, Jay Rock, the-Dream, Adam Levine, the late XXXTentacion, Lil Twist, O.T. Genasis, and Takeoff.
Lil Wayne is dropping the follow-up to 2018’s Tha Carter V, titled Funeral, next Friday, January 31st. The news was announced with a tweet from Wayne bearing only the record’s date — “1/31” — and a video featuring the record’s logo, title, and a snippet of a new song. The Herald’s sources say that firearms and drugs were found on the aircraft.
