Jennifer Hudson will honour the late Kobe Bryant during the 2020 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday.

The NBA today announced that Jennifer Hudson will perform a special tribute to the late Kobe Bryant at the All-Star Game on Sunday at Chicago’s United Center. 
The tribute will also honor Bryant’s daughter Gianna and seven others who died with them in a helicopter crash on Feb. 26.

First-week numbers for “The Masked Singer’s” robot have been unmasked. Lil Wayne’s “Funeral” debuted atop the Rolling Stone albums chart with 138,000 album units tallied.

Lil Wayne's Funeral is the No.1 album in the country, Billboard reports. The album, released on January 31, is Wayne's fifth chart topping effort and his first since his last album Tha Carter V in 2018.

Tonight immediately following the 2020 Super Bowl, the new season of The Masked Singer premiered on Fox. One contestant called the Robot came out and sang the Lenny Kravitz song “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” The judges guessed that it might be Shaun White, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Flavor Flav, or Floyd Mayweather. It was Lil Wayne. Once unmasked, Wayne explained that he picked the Robot costume because he thought his kids would like that character the best. Watch his performance below.

Fans have long been awaiting Lil Wayne's new LP, but there's one special piece no one would have expected to see even one week ago: a nod to the late Kobe Bryant.

Lil Wayne spent years working on his new album Funeral, but after the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, the rapper made a last-minute addition to the eighth track, “Bing James”. The 37-year-old honored the Los Angeles Lakers legend with a 24-second moment of silence, a nod to the jersey worn by Kobe throughout his legendary 20-year career.

Lil Wayne’s latest studio album Funeral is out now, via Young Money/Republic. The album features Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Lil Baby, Jay Rock, the-Dream, Adam Levine, the late XXXTentacion, Lil Twist, O.T. Genasis, and Takeoff.

Lil Wayne is dropping the follow-up to 2018’s Tha Carter V, titled Funeral, next Friday, January 31st. The news was announced with a tweet from Wayne bearing only the record’s date — “1/31” — and a video featuring the record’s logo, title, and a snippet of a new song. The record is available for pre-order on Wayne’s website on vinyl, cassette, CD, and digital; find details here.

The Miami Herald reports that a private jet carrying Lil Wayne and his crew was stopped by federal agents from the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and other agencies, and searched for drugs and firearms. The Herald’s sources say that firearms and drugs were found on the aircraft.
