Inhaler have added a show at Blackpool’s iconic Empress Ballroom to their ‘Cuts And Bruises’ world tour.The Irish indie rockers will perform there on November 2, with special guests Seb Lowe and Neon Waltz supporting.Tickets for the Empress Ballroom show go on sale this Friday (September 8) at 9:30am – you can buy yours here.The show comes in addition to the band’s previously announced shows in London and Glasgow in late October and early November. Inhaler have cancelled their scheduled gig at the O2 Academy Brixton, replacing it with three new dates.The Irish band had been set to perform at the south London venue on Saturday, November 4 ahead of their biggest headline concert to date at the 3Arena in Dublin the following week.However, Inhaler have now scrapped their planned show in the capital due to uncertainty surrounding the future of the O2 Academy Brixton following a fatal crowd crush at an Asake show last December.Two people died as a result of the incident, with a third being left in a critical condition in hospital.Inhaler, who released their second album ‘Cuts & Bruises’ in February, will now play a trio of London gigs instead. They’ll take to the stage at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on October 31 before heading to the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (November 1) and Troxy (November 4).Fans who bought tickets for the O2 Academy Brixton date will receive an email giving them the opportunity to exchange their tickets for one of the three new London shows today (July 7).

Arctic Monkeys confirm 2023 European tour dates with Inhaler

Arctic Monkeys have added European headline dates to their 2023 world tour behind new album ‘The Car’ – see the new dates below and find tickets here.The band’s seventh album will come out next week (October 21) and they have already confirmed details of a UK stadium tour and North American dates with Fontaines D.C. for next year.Across late April and early May of 2023, the band will play a number of gigs on the continent, reaching Germany, Norway, Sweden, France and beyond.The gigs kick off in Austria on April 24, running through until May 9 where they will wrap up the tour with a gig at Paris’ Accor Arena. Inhaler have discussed their forthcoming tour with Arctic Monkeys, on the first main day of music at Glastonbury 2022 – their first time playing the festival.The Dublin-based band told NME about their support slot this summer with the Alex Turner-fronted act, take a look at the video above to watch.Recalling the moment they were told about supporting Arctic Monkeys, bassist Robert Keating called the news “surreal”.“We found out about that in November [2021] when we were in America, one of our managers was just like, ‘You’re going to support Arctic Monkeys in August’, and we were just like, ‘Yeah but we’re not, are we?'” Keating said.“We just didn’t really believe it because we grew up listening to them and loving their music and the fact we actually get to tick that off the bucket list is still kind of surreal. Inhaler have confirmed that they’re working on their second album by sharing a behind-the-scenes studio clip – watch below.The Dublin band released their debut full-length effort, ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’, last July ahead of appearing at a string of festivals and embarking on a UK/Ireland headline tour.Having wrapped up a run of US dates in late 2021, the group revealed on social media yesterday (February 24) that they’re currently at work on new music.“Here’s a little treat from us working on new album material, alongside an instrumental we released on vinyl many moons ago,” Inhaler captioned a video, which shows them recording at Narcissus Studio in London.Shot by photographer Lewis Evans, the one-and-a-half-minute, vintage film-style montage sees the members of the band playing their respective instruments before it fades to black.
