Music Bank has announced the line-up of it’s upcoming concert in Mexico, featuring NewJeans, (G)I-DLE and more.Today (July 27), television broadcaster KBS released a new teaser for its upcoming ‘Music Bank in Mexico’ concert, which is set to be held at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico on October 22.Fronting the line-up of ‘Music Bank in Mexico’ are four popular girl groups: NewJeans, (G)I-DLE, STAYC and ITZY. Joining them will be two boybands, The New Six and AB6IX.

LE SSERAFIM are set to release a new remix of ‘Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife’ with Rina Sawayama.Today (July 27), LE SSERAFIM dropped a teaser for a brand-new remix for their hit song, which will now feature Rina Sawayama. The upcoming rework is set to feature vocals from Japanese-British singer, alongside a reworked instrumental, and will drop tomorrow (July 28).Meanwhile, the visuals for the teaser features a giant apple rolling through the hallway of a school, towards a bright orange light.

K-pop girl group NewJeans have performed a cover of singer-songwriter IU’s single ‘Celebrity’.IU has released the 21st episode of her YouTube music talk show IU’s Palette featuring the rising girl group as guests. During the episode, NewJeans shared a cover of the soloist’s 2021 hit single ‘Celebrity’.“There were so many reasons [we chose to sing ‘Celebrity’], but first of all, we really love this song plus, because you, IU, are our celebrity,” member Minji told the singer before the group began their performance.“In the cloudy darkness, don’t forget / That you’re a star, painted with a left hand / Can’t you see how beautiful / A true uniqueness can be / You’re my celebrity,” they sing in the chorus, accompanied by a live band.Later in the episode, IU also performed a cover of NewJeans’ song ‘Hurt’ from their 2022 self-titled debut EP.

K-pop girl group NewJeans have released a new music video for their song ‘ASAP’On July 26 at Midnight KST, the quartet dropped the dreamy music video for ‘ASAP’, one of six tracks from their new mini-album ‘Get Up’ which arrived last week.The new visual reimagines the girl group as ethereal forest fairies who are followed around by creatures with glowing eyes in the dark. These are later revealed to be bunnies, NewJeans’ official mascot, in the daylight.“ASAP baby, hurry up don’t be lazy / ASAP baby, hurry up don’t say maybe / ASAP baby, hurry up don’t say maybe,” they sing on the chorus, before the song’s instrumental break.‘ASAP’ is the sixth and final track on the girl group’s sophomore mini-album to receive the music video treatment.

Jimin, a member of K-pop boyband BTS, has reacted to Ryan Gosling wearing his ‘Permission to Dance’ outfit in the new film Barbie.Last week, Ryan Gosling offered an acoustic guitar from the movie Barbie to Jimin as a way of apologising after he “broke the Barbie Cardinal rule”. The actor had worn the same outfit in Barbie as the K-pop idol had on in the video for BTS’ song ‘Permission to Dance’.Jimin has since reacted to Gosling in a video on Instagram. “Hi Ryan and hi Ken, it’s Jimin,” he said while holding the guitar from the movie.

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) have opened up about working with the Jonas Brothers on ‘Do It Like That’.In a new interview with Billboard, the members of TXT spoke about their experience working with American boyband Jonas Brothers for the new single ‘Do It Like That’.Yeonjun revealed that the song was recorded in May, during the US leg of the boyband’s ‘Act: Sweet Mirage’ world tour. “I had personally been a fan of their music growing up and even practiced with their music as a trainee, so it felt surreal to be working with them,” he said.Meanwhile, Beomgyu added that the Jonas Brothers had been “incredibly welcoming from the moment we met”.
