DaBaby appeared to assault a woman on his way to the stage at an afterparty at the Tampa, Florida venue Whiskey North, TMZ reports. As video of the incident circulated online last night, DaBaby shared Instagram stories alleging that the woman struck him in the eye with her phone before he struck her back.

Back in January, DaBaby was arrested in Miami after having been accused of attacking and robbing local promoter Kenneth Carey. Yesterday, TMZ reports that prosecutors have since dropped the battery charge after one of the alleged victims — a friend of Carey's — refused to cooperate in the case. The man who has accused DaBaby of assault and robbery says he has plans to sue the rapper, according to TMZ. On Thursday, the rapper was arrested on battery and robbery charges in Miami in connection to the incident. While the amount the accuser is seeking in the lawsuit is still unclear, he says he was left with cuts and bruises after the rapper reportedly assaulted him, stole his iPhone, credit card, $80 and poured Apple Juice on him.

DaBaby was taken into custody by Miami police on Thursday after the rapper was accused of attacking and robbing a local promoter, TMZ reports.

Last night (January 2), DaBaby was arrested and booked into a Miami-Dade County jail, court records show. According to the Miami Herald and TMZ, DaBaby was initially detained and questioned by police about an alleged robbery. Miami Police Spokeswoman Kiara Delva told the Herald, “He was taken to headquarters for questioning, reference a possible robbery.... We haven’t confirmed his involvement in the case, but robbery detectives were questioning him.”

Last night (December 23), DaBaby was cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession and resisting, obstructing, and delaying arrest after performing at Charlotte’s Bojangles’ Coliseum, TMZ and WSOC-TV report.
