It wasn’t the reunion he’d hope (and sued) for, but Aerosmith reunited with estranged drummer Joey Kramer onstage at the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony award on Friday night at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Aerosmith’s star-studded tribute concert as the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year honorees on Friday night (January 24) will cement another important milestone in the historic Boston-founded band’s contributions to the American rock canon.

On January 21, Kramer, who has been an Aerosmith member for 50 years, claimed his bandmates froze him out of the group after a shoulder injury forced him to pull out of a string of shows in 2019, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Rap legends RUN-DMC are set to reunite with AEROSMITH on the Grammy Awards stage as part of a hits medley celebrating the rockers' longrunning career.

Run-DMC will perform with Aerosmith at the Grammy Awards on January 26, a source close to the situation tells Variety. The duo are not expected to perform with the Boston group for their entire set — which makes it seem likely that the band will perform a career-spanning medley, as artists often do on the show, and Run-DMC will join them for “Walk This Way.”

Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Aerosmith and Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are the first slate of performers to be announced for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, taking place Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The show will be hosted by Alicia Keys and will be broadcast on CBS starting at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT. Eilish announced her performance on Twitter late Tuesday night.
