Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is set to be eased back into team training in the coming days.
Martial has not played since he tore his hamstring in the final Premier League game of last season against Fulham on May 27.
The 27-year-old said he was "better" when asked for an update on his fitness by English journalists after United's 2-0 defeat of Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium on Saturday.
United manager Erik ten Hag said in June that Martial's recovery would be "long" but he is hopeful the Frenchman will be involved in full training this week.

It is unclear if Martial will play in either of United's remaining matches against Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund on their pre-season tour of the United States.
When Martial recovered from a hip injury in March, he did not play for four weeks after his return to team training at Carrington.
In the absence of Martial and a new striker, Ten Hag has started Jadon Sancho through the middle in United's three friendlies.
