Former Manchester United loanee Marcel Sabitzer has announced his departure from Bayern Munich.
The Austrian international, who joined the Reds on loan back in the January transfer window for the remainder of the 2022/23 season, has sealed a move to fellow German side Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal. He has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Signal Iduna Park.
Sabitzer joined Bayern from RB Leipzig in August 2021 but failed to ever live up to expectations at the Allianz Arena. He scored just two goals and grabbed two assists in 54 games for the German champions.
He will be hoping to get his career back on track at Dortmund, who have signed him for a reported fee of around €19million. He has become their second midfield signing of the summer after the recent capture of Felix Nmecha from Wolfsburg.
