Mikel Arteta believes Manchester United's 'efficiency' was decisive in their 2-0 victory over Arsenal.
Erik ten Hag's side made it three wins from as many games in pre-season by beating the Gunners at the MetLife Stadium. Goals from Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes put the game beyond reach with United seeing the game out in the second half.
United produced two clinical moments to win the match with Sancho pouncing on an error from Gabriel before Fernandes' low shot squirmed past Aaron Ramsdale, who may feel he should've done better.
Arteta had little complaints about the defeat and wants his side to use it as motivation to continue growing as a team. He believes United were ruthless in front of goal to win the game.

"Having a tough match of this level in this context gives you a lot of information, and that's always very positive," Arteta said. "That information is obviously there are a lot of things we have to improve.
"How important the boxes are, that errors are part of football, you have to overcome them as well. And how painful it is to lose a game.
"Physically it’s been super, super demanding. Some players we want to expose a little bit more than they have done, because the way we want to build them, their physical state.
"Overall they had their moments when they were so efficient. We had ours, when we had more dominance and we certainly tried again in the second half, but the chances we had, we didn’t convert them, and they won the game."
