Manchester City are considering an approach for Rennes winger Jeremy Doku as they look to replace Riyad Mahrez, according to reports.
City are in the market for a third major signing this summer after losing Mahrez to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli last month. The Algerian called time on a five-year spell at the Etihad, departing for a deal worth £30million.
His exit has left manager Pep Guardiola short in wide areas, particularly on the right where Mahrez was an ever-present in the Premier League. Michael Olise has been of interest in recent weeks but the Telegraph reports Doku is among the candidates being considered.

A deal to sell a portion of commercial rights has raised around €120m, allowing them to register recent signings. However it has also left some room for further investment, with a new right-back among Xavi's priorities.
They are said to be hopeful of a loan deal for the season, although they have not yet managed to agree a fee with City for the temporary move. The report adds that Cancelo has already agreed to lower his salary in order to join the Catalan side.
