Many fans have reported hours-long journeys on official UEFA coaches to and from the centre of Istanbul to the Ataturk Stadium, with just one road accessing the final from the city. A lack of water and toilet facilities has been cited as a key issue, as well as unsafe facilities for disabled fans and potentially-dangerous queuing arrangements to get into the stadium.
Once inside, the inadequate toilet and refreshment provisions were problematic for many supporters, with the sharp, out-of-date seats giving thousands minor injuries - especially when celebrating Rodri's winner.

UEFA were forced to apologise to Liverpool fans for the dangerous and potentially-catastrophic scenes in Paris in 2022 for the final, giving refunds to every Liverpool ticket-holder.
