Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has named his first team of the new season for the Community Shield against Arsenal.
City have travelled down to Wembley to take on the Gunners for the traditional curtain-raiser ahead of the new Premier League season. Guardiola's Treble winners take on Arsenal, managed by ex-City assistant Mikel Arteta.
Traditionally, the game sees the title winners take on the holders of the FA Cup. But because City won both trophies last season as well as the Champions League, their opponents are the Premier League runners-up.
After a busy pre-season campaign, today is the first real competitive game ahead of the new top-flight campaign beginning next week. City begin their title defence away to Burnley next Friday at Turf Moor, the Clarets managed by former Blues defender Vincent Kompany.

And City boss Guardiola has opted to start Stefan Ortega as goalkeeper ahead of Ederson, who is on the bench. The back four sees Kyle Walker start alongside John Stones, Ruben Dias and Manuel Akanji.
In central midfield, Mateo Kovacic is handed his City debut alongside Rodri and Bernardo Silva. Up top, Jack Grealish and Julian Alvarez will be either side of Erling Haaland.
Alongside Ederson on the bench are Kalvin Phillips, Aymeric Laporte, Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Gomez, Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, Rico Lewis and James McAtee.
