Riyad Mahrez says he will 'never forget' the Manchester City fans who supported him during his five-year spell at the Etihad.
Mahrez, 32, has left City to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli in a deal worth up to £30m. He joined from Leicester in 2018 for £60m, and has won 10 major trophies over the last five years, including last season's historic treble.
The winger played a key role in City's run to their first-ever Champions League final in 2021, and scored 78 goals in 236 appearances, registering 59 assists. He leaves having helped City win the Champions League, FA Cup and third-successive Premier League title.
In an emotional letter to City fans, Mahrez thanked supporters for embracing him and 'giving him the confidence' every time he wore the shirt.

Posting a video of his highlights at City, including behind-the-scenes footage, Mahrez wrote: "Dear Cityzens, Today marks the end of an unforgettable chapter in my life, a five-year journey filled with countless memories.
"Before leaving, I wanted to thank the board, the manager and the staff for giving me the chance to prove myself at the highest level. To my teammates, both past and present. Sharing the pitch and the dressing room with you has been a pleasure.
