Josko Gvardiol is ready to improve under Pep Guardiola after completing his £77.5m move to Manchester City.
The 21-year-old Croat signs a five-year deal until the summer of 2028, and will increase Guardiola's defensive options ahead of a season where City are expected to use their six centre-backs across the back line. He will take the number 24 shirt at the Etihad.
After sealing his move, Gvardiol described playing for City as an honour, with a Premier League move his dream. In a warning to City's rivals, the youngster insisted he is far from the finished article, and has joined the club to win more trophies.
After seeing City win the treble, Gvardiol says there couldn't be a better time to move to the Etihad, expressing his intentions to help his new teammates defend their three historic titles.
