Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter has teased whether her character Chas Dingle will die in a major twist in the soap this week.
The iconic character was feared dead during the episode which aired on Wednesday, 11 October, after she was abducted. Harry has kidnapped Chas as he looks to get to her brother Caleb Milliagan, but at first, Chas was unaware of who he is.
Last night, viewers watched as Chas realised who she was actually with.
The criminal hid Chas’ phone and took her for a drive, but as soon as Cain Dingle and Caleb realised what was happening, they raced after her. However, while they tried to get to her, Harry threatened Chas by telling her she must do what he says, and as the scenes continued, Harry could be seen talking to a mystery person before promising drama for the Dingle family.
Lucy appeared on Good Morning Britain on Thursday, 11 October, to talk about the dramatic scenes, and she teased her death, telling Richard Arnold: “What's gonna happen... are they gonna get there in time? Who's gonna save her?” The dramatic scenes are part of Super Soap Week, which has seen a dramatic car crash, and the return of Chas’ son Aaron Dingle.
Before getting kidnapped by Harry, Chas came face to face with her son, who she last saw last year, after he discovered her affair with Al Chapman. The pair continued their frayed relationship when they reunited, and Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, has described their relationship as “toxic” when talking to OK! He told us: “I think toxic is the best way to describe their relationship.
