Emmerdale star James Hotoon has said every Dingle 'has a secret' to hide in an upcoming special week of the ITV soap. It has been revealed that Craig Reed will be found dead - weeks after Lydia Dingle told her family he raped her in heartbreaking scenes.
Craig, who Lydia knew from the children's home they lived at as kids, unexpectedly came back into Lydia's life after bumping into him at a job fair at the Hide and the pair were later seen bonding after Lydia told Craig she had given birth to their stillborn baby when they were in a teenage relationship while living in the same children's home.
But things turned awkward when Craig appeared to want to make a move on Lydia, despite her being happily married to Sam. As a result, she decided to speak to Craig and tell him that she was with Sam and that she wasn't interested in him but he believed they should be together and in shocking scenes, he forced himself on Lydia, but has since denied raping her.

WIth her family, and the entire village, now aware of her ordeal, things are set to take a major turn next week when Lydia delivers the shocking news that Craig is dead. Already knowing Sam and his brother Cain had Craig tied up in a remote barn, she gathers the Dingles in the Woolpack for a lock-in and begins questioning them one by one on their whereabouts.
And in a series of flashbacks, Emmerdale will reveal what happened at the barn. She starts with Sam before getting alibis from Belle, Aaron, Chas, Charity, Mandy and Marlon but despite everyone's alibi being established, Lydia remains troubled that someone is being deceitful.
