Emmerdale star Danny Miller says 'sorry' while telling fans to 'buckle up' as they react to return

Danny Miller has issued an apology as he was seen making a shock return to Emmerdale, nearly two years after he quit as a full-time cast member. Fans of the ITV soap had been desperate to know who Cain Dingle and Caleb Milligan have been keeping hostage in an empty barn.
The pair headed off on a mystery road trip last month and it's fair to say they have been acting shifty - particularly by Cain's normal standards - ever since. During last Friday night's trip to the Dales, Moira Dingle decided to follow her husband Cain to the empty barn, where she confronted him about his odd behaviour recently.
Moira went running inside the barn when she heard a noise coming from inside, only to find a bolted door. But despite her husband's warning, she stormed in and saw a man tied up. She then muttered: "You?", leaving fans in suspense over the weekend before Aaron Dingle's face was eventually seen at the start of Monday's episode (October 9).

While he made an exit in December 2021, while Danny headed to Wales to take part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, Aaron was actually seen in the village last back in October 2022 when the actor briefly reprised his role as part of the soap's 50th anniversary celebrations.
