Emmerdale's Super Soap Week continued on Tuesday (October 10) with a nailbiting stunt that kept fans of the programme on tenterhooks. The ITV soap showed Chloe Harris driving a car with Mackenzie Boyd and Charity Dingle in the backseat.
It was a masterstroke for the rural soap, showing the winding roads of the Dales whizzing past as Chloe (played by Jessie Elland) sped along the route. In a shocking scene, the action unfolded as Chloe lost control of the vehicle - and Charity (Emma Atkins) and Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) were powerless to stop the ensuing tragedy.
Mackenzie and Chloe were planning to head for a holiday in Scotland ahead of a permanent move there. But Chloe has been carrying betrayal against Mack after hearing the conversation he and his ex-wife Charity shared in the Woolpack previously, detailing their one-night stand.

Tension was high between the trio and, as voices were raised, they were hit by an oncoming car. The deadly cliff-top crash saw the trio flung upside down as their vehicle rolled repeatedly after they were crashed into.
Charity and Chloe were both left pleading with Mack to save them. Fans were impressed with the stunt as it happened.

Viewers seemed to be split over who they wanted Mack to save - and who they wanted to see go over
