Emmerdale stars say 'oh my God' as actor Bradley Johnson announces special news

A number of Emmerdale actors have been left saying 'oh my God' as their co-star Bradley Johnson shared some special news. The actor took to Instagram on Sunday (October 29) to offer an update from his holiday with girlfriend Sammie Johnstone.
Bradley, who plays Vinny Dingle in the ITV soap, revealed he'd popped the question to Sammie in Rome - and she said yes. The soap star got down on one knee during a romantic trip to the Italian city and shared picture of the newly engaged couple beaming from ear to ear.
Taking to Instagram, Bradley shared a snap of him and his fiancé in front of the Colosseum, with the sparkling ring clearly visible. Captioning the post, he wrote: "When in Rome……" alongside a ring emoji as his co-stars rushed to congratulate him.

Emmerdale legend Mark Charnock, who is famed for playing Marlon Dingle, said: "Oh my god!!! Thrilled for you both. Xx," alongside a heart emoji and a ring emoji. Bradley's on-screen mum Lisa Riley, known for starring in the show as Mandy Dingle, posted: "BEST NEWS EVER!!! Congratulations."
Kevin Mathurin, who plays Charles Anderson on the soap, penned: "Yes mate!! Congratulations to you both." Will Taylor actor Dean Andrews commented: "Congrats you two lovebirds. I can see where the Emmerdale budget is going." Recent returnee Danny Miller replied: "Knew you’d smash it my brother!!! Congratulations Brad and Sammy! Sending all the love mate. Enjoy!"
