Emmerdale fans are buzzing with questions after Chloe Harris called the show's baddie Harry "Dad" in the latest episode. Chloe's dad has been a mystery since she first appeared on the show in 2021, known only as Damon Harris. Although we've never seen him before, he seemed to turn up in the village on Thursday - but viewers were stunned when Chloe met with a familiar face.
She confirmed he was her father by calling him "Dad" several times, however fans recognised the man as the Dingle family's foe, Harry, who has been on the show quite a bit recently. So, is Harry the same person as Damon Harris? The answer is yes. Damon explained: "The first few months when I got sent down you came to see me every week, then nothing.
No letters, no calls, no visits. It was round the whole wing that Damon Harris' daughter dumped him." Chloe then asked about the name change: "So you were Damon inside? You weren't Harry?" Her dad didn't confirm which was his real name, but said: "Only business associates call me Harry now, to everyone else I'm Damon, Mr Harris, Dad." Fans took to X, formally known as Twitter to express their thoughts on the episode, as one said: "OMFGGGGG @emmerdale I can usually predict what’s gonna happen in a storyline most of the time ye see it coming but my mind is mega blown. Chloe (who I still cany go and wish she would just disappear an leave Mackenzie with Rueben) My god her da".
Another predicted: "Think Chloe will regret getting in touch with her dad #Emmerdale". Chloe, who joined the soap in 2021 as Sarah Sugden's heart donor's sister, was revealed to have been cut off by her dad from prison a few years ago. Later, it came out that she had a significant connection to the village.
