Charley Webb has appeared to brush off recent drama surrounding her split from estranged husband Matthew Wolfenden as she returned to Instagram on Saturday, 16 December.
The Emmerdale actress, 35, announced in November she'd split from co-star Matthew, 43, with the pair, who share three children, releasing a statement via social media, in which they vowed to “remain friends.” Matthew has since been spotted looking cosy with rumoured new love interest Heather Scott-Martin.
The actor has since furiously denied any reports that he'd been unfaithful to Charley. Charley ignored the recent controversy and took to Instagram to show off her Christmas-themed nails on Saturday.
The actress posted a short clip to her Instagram Stories of her holding up her fresh manicure in the mirror. Charley opted for glossy white nails with a small gold Christmas tree design on her little finger.
"Cute little [tree emoji]," she wrote alongside the video, marking her first post since Matthew addressed any claims of infidelity. The dad-of-three posted a defiant message to Instagram on Friday, 15 December where he shot down accusations of him being unfaithful to his estranged wife during their marriage.
Reposting a snap of himself and new girlfriend Heather, who he was seen out and about with earlier this week, Matthew told his followers it was "just to set the record straight".
The caption underneath the photo, which was posted on an online article, referred to the romance "reportedly starting before his split from Charley", which Matthew has now firmly denied. "This (so called) reporting is an out and out LIE!" the soap star said.
