Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney feels 'real appreciation' amid candid career remarks as she juggles soap and Dancing on Ice

Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has spoken about feeling 'real appreciation' as she made a candid remark about her career. The actress joined the ITV soap earlier this year as Cassie Plummer and while also treading the cobbles, she's set to take to the ice.
Claire is one of several celebrities who has signed up for the upcoming 2024 series of Dancing on Ice which starts in January. It has been confirmed that Holly Willoughby will return to host the series alongside Stephen Mulhern.
Meanwhile, judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse will also return to the ITV skating competition, with former world champion boxer Ricky Hatton, singer Hannah Spearritt, West End star Amber Davies and Olympian Greg Rutherford also among the stars taking part.

Completing the line-up are TV personality Miles Nazaire, comedian and writer Lou Sanders, actor Ricky Norwood, radio presenter Adele Roberts, actor Ryan Thomas and Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi.
Speaking about how the training is going and how she is juggling that with her Corrie commitments, Claire has said: "Lots of juggling, for example, I've just done two scenes this morning, gone skating for an hour, come back and I've got another two scenes to do. I'm fitting it in when I can. I've just had two weeks off. So I did three hours every day. Five days a week for three hours."
And it's fair to say it's been a great year for Claire as her career, which started back in her teens before she landed her first major role as Lindsey Corkhill in the Channel 4 soap Brookside, flourishes
