Ryan Thomas confesses to having 'secret weapon' for Dancing on Ice success before 'tighter the better' remarks

Ryan Thomas has confessed to having a 'secret weapon' when it comes to competing in Dancing on Ice as he prepares for his debut performance. The actor has been calling a few of his former Coronation Street co-stars for some advice after signing up to the ITV skating competition.
Ryan will take part in the 2024 series, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern, alongside world champion boxer Ricky Hatton, singer Hannah Spearritt, West End star Amber Davies and Olympian Greg Rutherford when the the show returns on Sunday (January 14).
Completing the line-up are TV personality Miles Nazaire, comedian and writer Lou Sanders, actor Ricky Norwood, radio presenter Adele Roberts and Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi.

Ahead of his debut performance, as it has been revealed he'll skate in week one of the competition alongside partner Amani Fancy as they go up against Greg, Amber, Hannah, Ricky and Roxy and their partners, Ryan has been opening up about his chances in the competition and revealed whether he's been contacting some former DOI contestants for support.
The former soap star admitted: "I know loads of people who have done the show before. I've been to see Kimberly Wyatt do it - she's a good friend of mine. I've seen Sally Dynevor do it. For her to do it, the first time she's probably stepped outside of Corrie, was a big thing for her. I was really proud of her doing it.
