A Scottish man has been arrested after a £96m cocaine haul weighing around 1.2 tonnes was found on a boat crossing the Atlantic.

Police have closed a section of the A1 in East Lothian following reports of a crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the southbound carriageway between Tranent and Dolphingstone on Saturday afternoon.
A picture from the area, shared by Edinburgh Live, shows a silver car with its hazard lights on as a road traffic officer stands nearby.
Traffic Scotland is warning fellow road users to expect delays as officers remain at the scene.
It’s not currently known how many vehicles were involved or if anyone has been injured.

Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, Traffic Scotland wrote: “The A1 is closed between Dolphingstone and Tranent due to a collision.
“Traffic is slow on approach. Please take care. Police on the scene.”
